Join Our Tribe

We’re a small group of people who love humor. We’re on the path to punching up our work and having fun doing it. We’re here to encourage one another, teach one another, and finding new readers and markets. If you’ve already registered, and are trying to log back in, click here.

Humor can be a tough sell, but strangely enough, we’re not in competition as much as an outsider might think. You’re take on the world, from slightly off-center to Robin-Williams-parallel-universe, is what will make your readers seek you out. Think about it, there are billions of people on this planet, and even if only a tiny fraction of a percentage find your funny…. well, that’s still a bunch. And when it gets down to it, how big an audience do you need to feel fulfilled? If can genuinely connect with your readers, telling them things that comfort, educate, amuse, or annoy-the-right people. Well, isn’t that success?

I think it is.

We could go on and on here, but why not jump in. Most of the material on this website is open and without charge. There will be times and pages where we’ve paid a coach or editor to give is personalized instruction, and those will have a nominal fee or subscription. We’re still in development here, so the pricing is evolving, and frankly, we’re listening to what our members want and what it is worth to them.

Many people here are retired or have a modest income. We get it. So unless we find the instruction or coaching to be of genuine value, then we won’t offer it.

For now, just settle into the iron-level, free access. This will require you to create an account here, but nothing more. Other levels, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and rare-earth something or other, may be offered, but we’re not there yet.

Click here to register for this website, and then rummage around for material. Much of what is up now is related to our humor conferences. But we’ve decided to make the website itself more of a humor-writing community where members can give or take as they see fit and in accordance with their needs. We all have something to offer, and we all have something to learn, at least I know I do. After nearly 60 years of seeking to find the funny, taking classes from universities, writer’s workshops, stepping on stage, submitting countless contest entries, penning a weekly humor-column, and publishing a few books along the way, I’m still eager to hear of new ideas and new ways to reach readers.

I do hope you’ll register and join us in this trip together. It should be an adventure. Drop into our discussion and page-sharing forums by clicking here.
